<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably control transmit power in a mobile communication system using a communication system such as a W-CDMA system by varying the lower-limit value of a target SIR according to communication quality. <P>SOLUTION: A communication quality measuring section 2 detects a data error of a radio signal to detect the communication quality decreasing down almost to a predetermined level. Then an SIR control section 3 varies the value of a base SIR as the lower-limit value of the target SIR to the value obtained by adding a specified value to the value of the target SIR when the decrease in communication quality down almost to the predetermined level is detected and stores the varied value in a memory section 4, and makes a timer section 5 start clocking a time. Then the SIR control section 3 decreases the value of the target SIR within a base SIR storage period until the communication quality measuring section 2 detects the communication quality decreasing down almost to the predetermined level or down to the value of the base SIR stored in the memory section 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
