<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminator capable of manufacturing an inexpensive high-grade laminated card having no warpage, producing no separation failure in a separation process and not changed with the elapse of time. <P>SOLUTION: The laminator is equipped with an insertion port (101) in which a card (1) is inserted, a lamination part (LR) for bonding a laminated film (2) to one side (1a) of the card under heating and pressure to bond a protective film forming material (2a), a separation part (114) for separating the non-bonded part of the laminated film from the card after thermal pressure bonding, feed means (R1 and R2) for feeding the card along the feed route reaching the separation part through the lamination part from the insertion port, the cooling means (120) arranged in the vicinity of the route between the lamination part and the separation part to cool the card and a control part (304) for controlling thermal pressure bonding operation, feed operation and cooling operation. In the control part, the card before a protective film is bonded is passed through the lamination part without being bonded under heating and pressure to be cooled by the cooling means before the protective film forming material is bonded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
