PURPOSE: A high efficient steam generating apparatus and a water level control method thereof are provided, which can reduce use of water and electricity and make thermal efficiency excellent. CONSTITUTION: A water level control method of a high efficient steam generating apparatus comprises: a step(S310) of generating steam vapor by heating water in a vertical cylinder through supply of power source to a heater; a step(S340) of deciding whether temperature measured at a temperature sensor arrives to the fixed maximum temperature or not; a step(S330) of supplying the water to the vertical cylinder by operating a pump if the temperature measured at a temperature sensor arrives to the fixed maximum temperature level; and a step(S350) of stopping the operation of the pump if the time measured by a timer arrives to the fixed time.
