METHOD OF TRANSMITTING CHANNEL QUALITY INFORMATION OF DOWNLINK MULTI CARRIERS IN A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method of transmitting channel quality information of downlink multi carriers in a wireless communication system is provided to transmit channel quality information to a base station through a physical uplink control channel and/or a physical uplink shared channel in at least one uplink component carrier. CONSTITUTION: A terminal creates a CQI(Channel Quality Indicator) for a downlink multi carrier including downlink component carriers, and transmits channel quality information to a base station through a PUCCH(Physical Uplink Control Channel) and/or a PUSCH(Physical Uplink Shared Channel) in one uplink component carrier. A UL CC(Uplink Component Carrier) includes a PUSCH region and a PUCCH region. If the PUSCH is not allocated to information transmission timing, the terminal transmits PUCCH-based periodic CQI to the base station through at least one PUCCH. A UL CC(Uplink Component Carrier) includes the PUSCH region and the PUCCH region.
