PURPOSE: An apparatus for purifying air is provided to enhance air purification efficiency by continuously washing contaminants, which are adsorbed on the outer circumference of spheres, using cleaning water which is sprayed from the lower part of the apparatus. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for purifying air comprises: a housing(10); an air induction pipe(20); a disc-shaped first support member including a plurality of first penetration holes(31); a plurality of spheres(40) which are stacked on the upper side of the first support member; a ring member(50) including a plurality of cut grooves(51); a first filter(70) including a second support member(60) with one or more second penetration holes(61); a first cleaning unit(80) including a plurality of first nozzles(81) spraying cleaning water; and a second cleaning unit(90) including a plurality of second nozzles(101).
