UTILISATION D'UN ACIDE CHLOROGENIQUE EN TANT QU'UN ACTIF AMINCISSANT

摘要

The use of a chlorogenic acid in active agents for slimming in cosmetics is new. An independent claim is included for composition comprising caffeine and at least one chlorogenic acid, where the ratio of between the concentrations of chlorogenic acid and caffeine is 1:1-1:500 (preferably 1:2-1:100). ACTIVITY : None given. MECHANISM OF ACTION : Lipogenesis inhibitor; Lipolysis activator. The ability of chlorogenic acid to inhibit phosphodiesterase (activation of lipolysis) was tested. The results showed that the chlorogenic acid effectively inhibited the phosphodiesterase by exhibiting an IC 50value of 0.12%, which was less when compared to that of caffeine (i.e. 1%).
