PURPOSE: An air conditioner is provided to reduce the flow resistance of refrigerant by the free selection on the mounting location of a distributing unit distributing refrigerant to the indoor unit installed in an air conditioning space. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner comprises a plurality of indoor units, an outdoor unit(100), and a distributing unit(200). The outdoor unit comprises a compressor. The distributing unit is detachably installed to the outdoor unit, is projected from the outer surface of the outdoor unit and is connected to the indoor unit and outdoor unit. For the outdoor unit, a pipe connector(150) connected to the distributing unit is installed on the side of the installation position neighborhood of the compressor. The pipe connector comprises a high pressure socket(151) and a low pressure socket(155) having different separation distances from the edge of the outdoor unit. The distributing unit comprises an outdoor connector connected to the outdoor unit and a plurality of indoor connectors(270) connected to the indoor units. The outdoor connector and the indoor connector are installed on different outer surfaces of the distributing unit. |
