PURPOSE: A bollard for a sidewalk is provided to enable pedestrians to safely walk on a sidewalk by installing the bollard in a boundary between the sidewalk and a road. CONSTITUTION: A bollard for a sidewalk is composed as follows. A fastener(8) is inserted into a fixing unit(9) of a chain(2). The chain is inserted into a through hole(16) of a top latch(7). The fastener, the chain, and the top latch are inserted into a through hole(17) of a compressed spring. The fastener is inserted into a through hole(11) of a top end rod(12) and is inserted into a through hole(5) of a bottom end rod(1).
