PURPOSE: A method for making, exchanging, and managing name card information using a portable information terminal is provided to easily make a name card of a user and save information of the name card in a portable information terminal, thereby enabling the user to carry the information of the name card. CONSTITUTION: Name card information is made using a portable information terminal. If other portable information terminals make gestures for exchanging name card information, the portable information terminal identifies the gestures to check a name card exchange intention. Portable information terminals which are name card information exchange targets are searched using a short-range wireless communication function. Short-range wireless communication function among the searched portable information terminals is set. The information of name cards is exchanged among the portable information terminals. |
