<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supercharging and exhaust emission control system of an internal combustion engine which can reduce the usage of an exhaust emission control catalyst, prevent the transient response from lowering, can reduce restriction to equipment layout, and can efficiently use exhaust energy. <P>SOLUTION: This supercharging and exhaust emission control system of an internal combustion engine includes an electric compressor 3 which compresses air by rotatingly driving a compressor 3c by a motor 3m and supplies the compressed air to the internal combustion engine 7, a turbine generator 2 for generating by driving a generator 2g by a turbine 2t driven by the exhaust gas from the internal combustion engine 7, a storage means 12 for storing the electric power generated by the turbine generator 2 and supplying electric power to the electric compressor 3, and an exhaust emission control catalyst 10 disposed in the exhaust flow passage (engine exhaust flow passage 8a) between the internal combustion engine 7 and the turbine 2t. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
