<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production device of illumination control data which smoothly changes control state of illumination according to changes in musical performance when illumination is controlled according to musical performance. <P>SOLUTION: The production device of illumination control data produces illumination control data which control an illumination means according to a performance by the performance data. In the production device, a CPU2 determines a performance data structure depending on musical characteristics for every section of the performance data, and determines the illumination pattern corresponding to the performance data structure out of a plurality of illumination patterns stored in the memory 6.
