PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arbitrarily select an original image and an edited image altogether for display on a user's request after editing the image.

SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus can select the image to be displayed after editing the image in accordance with a user's intention. Because the image processing apparatus specifies the image before and after editing it for display in response to a user's operation, the user can simply view the desired image.
