<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that erroneous detection may occur since each user performs an operation with different strength and motion size when using an operation means for detecting a prescribed motion by acceleration detection. <P>SOLUTION: An image capturing apparatus includes a display section for displaying an optical image formed by an image sensor as an image, a change means for changing the image to be displayed on the display section, an acceleration detection means for detecting an acceleration component of deflection for output, and a motion detection means for detecting deflection given by an operator to change the image to be displayed on the display section from an output of the acceleration detection means. The motion detection means detects that an acceleration signal reaches and exceeds the first threshold, and then detects deflection given by the operator and changes an image to be displayed on the display section when the acceleration signal reaches a second threshold having a sign differing from that of the first threshold and an absolute value larger than the first threshold, and then reaches a third threshold having a sign identical to that of the second threshold and an absolute value larger than the second threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
