PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting method for achieving disk configuration according to use, by utilizing effectively a mounting area of an information processing device. SOLUTION: The adapter 17 for mounting a disk for converting a disk device (HDD) into a connectable connection interface is connected to at least one PCI connector (1-5) included in a computer device 20. The adapter 17 for mounting the disk device includes a control cable connection connector 13 for bonding a control cable 14 for connecting connectors 12, 18 for the HDD device to another PCI card such as a PCI-RAID card, and allows addition of an HDD by using a PCI card slot.
