PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a conversation with a speech partner without allowing a surrounding third person to listen to speech contents. SOLUTION: This speech system comprises: a voice input means for inputting voice data; a voice output means for outputting voice data toward a speech destination; a database for storing keyword conversion information in which a secret first keyword and the other second keyword are made correspondent; a voice recognition means for recognizing input voice data and converting the voice data into text data; a search means for searching for data corresponding to the second keyword from the text data; and a voice synthesizing means for synthesizing and outputting voice data of the first keyword corresponding to the second keyword when the second keyword is searched at a position of the second keyword in the input voice data.
