The circuit (1) has a main water radiator (3), and a feed line (4) guided from an internal-combustion engine (2) to the radiator. A return line (5) is guided from the radiator to the internal-combustion engine. An electrical regulating valve (13) e.g. rotary slide valve, has an inlet (14) connected with an output (10) of a self-regulating expansion material-driven thermostat valve (7), and another inlet (15) and an outlet (16) connected with the return line, where cross-sections of an opening of the former and the latter inlets are variably controlled.
