PURPOSE: A treadmill is provided, in which controls the motor drive speed of the treadmill by detecting music rhythm and enables a user to exercise according to the music rhythm. CONSTITUTION: A treadmill comprises: a receiver(10) receiving a music signal; a digital converter(30) changing the music signal into a digital signal; a rhythm detection unit(40) detecting the number of rhythm per unit time from the digital signal transformed by the digital converter; and a controller(60) controlling the driving speed of the motor according to number of the detected rhythm per unit time.
