A visual field (18) of the imaging system is defined by the imaging lens (7) and the detector (11) as the maximum angle range within which points can be registered by the imaging lens (7) by means of the recording surface (10) of the detector (11). According to the invention, the imaging lens (7) and the detector (11) are designed and arranged relative to one another and to a lens plane (6) comprising the alignment axis (2) such that all points of the lens plane (6) within the visual field (18) are simultaneously imaged in focus on the recording surface (10) of the detector (11).
