<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery using a composite material tape capable of increasing insulating property or heat resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The lithium secondary battery has a first electrode current collector and a first electrode active material layer, a first electrode plate in which a first electrode plain part is formed on at least one side, a second electrode current collector, a second electrode active material layer, a second electrode plate in which a second electrode plain part is formed on at least one side, a separator insulating the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate, an electrode assembly in which a first electrode tab is fixed to the first electrode plain part on the one side of the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate, and a second electrode tab is fixed to the second electrode plain part, and an insulating tape bonding the end of the second electrode active material layer of the second electrode plate of the second plain part and one surface of at least one separator, and the insulating tape is made of a composite material tape, the composite material tape has an organic material forming a substrate and an inorganic material which is dispersed in the organic material, and the content of the inorganic material is 20-80% to the total weight of the composite material tape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
