<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermochromism ball point pen which gives the clear visibility of a marking formed on a cloth, and shows such excellent usability as to erase the marking easily by heat, and high practicability without the need for water washing. <P>SOLUTION: This thermochromism ball point pen 1 accommodates an ink composition 2 which involves a microcapsulated reversible thermochromism composition revealing color discharge by heat, and also, a microcapsulated pigment with the complete color development temperature "t<SB>1</SB>" of not more than 0°C, and the complete color discharge temperature "t<SB>4</SB>" of not lower than 50°C in a color density-temperature curve. In addition, the brightness value is not smaller than 8.8 when the ink composition is exposed under a xenon arc light at 170 w/m<SP>2</SP>for 10 hours after discharging the color of the ink composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
