<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel easy to assemble and high in assembling accuracy and maintainability, and an imaging apparatus and a manufacturing method. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The lens barrel includes: at least an optical system having a first optical component, a second optical component and a third optical component in this order; a first guide bar extending in parallel with an optical axis of the optical system; a holding cylinder having an insertion part through which the first guide bar is inserted, and movable along the first guide bar while holding the first optical component and the third optical component; and a holding frame disposed inside the holding cylinder to hold the second optical component.
