<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balancer device for an internal combustion engine, capable of reducing weight of a housing as much as possible while suppressing deformation of the housing in driving. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The balancer device includes a driving side balancer shaft, a driven side balancer shaft to which a rotation force is transmitted from the driving side balancer shaft, the housing 9 for rotatably bearing both the balancer shafts while storing them inside, a driving side rib 22 composed of a first reinforcement rib 24 extending in the axial direction of the driving side balancer shaft and a second rib 25 extending toward one outside surface of the housing at an angle of 90 degrees to the first reinforcement rib, which are respectively provided on the outer bottom surface of a lower housing 10 of the housing, and a driven side rib 23 extending in the axial direction of the driven balancer shaft, which is arranged in parallel with the first reinforcement rib.
