PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display reducing power consumption of an image signal line driving circuit. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display includes a plurality of image signal line driving circuits. Each of the plurality of image signal line driving circuits includes: a timing controller 310, an image data extraction circuit 350, and a data latch circuit 360 for latching image data extracted by the image data extraction circuit 350. The image data extraction circuit 350 extracts, among image data RGBdata, data of a part corresponding to a predetermined number of image signal lines allocated beforehand to the image signal line driving circuit. The image data extraction circuit 350 supplies a signal of a constant potential to the data latch circuit 360 during a period other than when the image data is extracted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
