TEMPERATURE CONTROL DEVICE FOR POLYGONAL TANK

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional polygonal tank in which heat exchange pipes are wound around the outer face of the tank having a polygonal cross sectional shape. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This temperature control device for a polygonal tank includes a plate-shaped cooling unit 12. The cooling unit 12 includes: a heat exchange group in which a plurality of heat exchange pipes 34 through which a heating medium is made to pass are arranged in a plane shape to be suitable for the outer face of the quadrangular tank 10; two aluminum foils 36a, 36b sandwiching the heat exchange pipe group and bonding each of the heat exchange pipes 34 by adhesion layers formed on opposing faces; and a waterproof sheet 42 covering a heat insulating material layer 40 to prevent permeation of water to the heat insulating material layer 40 arranged on the aluminum foil 36a side. The temperature control device further includes a fitting member for fitting the plate-shaped cooling unit 12 to the flat face on the outer face of the tank 10 so that the aluminum foil 36b is brought into contact with the outer face of the tank 10 and an air layer between the aluminum foils 36a, 36b cooled by the heat exchange pipes 34 is formed along the flat face on the outer face of the tank 10.
