<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly easily performing planting of seedling in a ridge by an automatic seedling transplanter even if a missing plant is present in a seedling tray. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The seedling transplanter is constituted such that a seedling taking device 43 for removing a soil block seedling S from the seedling tray T on a seedling tray movement device 40 and feeding it to a seedling planting device 5 provided at an approximately center in a left/right direction of a traveling machine body is provided movably/stoppably from a feeding action position A to a non-feeding position B at one side of rigth and left sides, the seedling taking device 43 is moved and stopped at the non-feeding position B, and a worker can feed the seedling on the seedling tray movement device 40 to the seedling planting device 5 by manual operation.
