PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate having a transparent substrate directly stuck to both surfaces of a polarizer with a bonding agent, which includes the polarizer free from abnormalities in external form, such as wrinkles, in a method for manufacturing the polarizing plate. SOLUTION: The transparent substrate 2 is stuck to one surface of a polarizer 1 with a bonding agent 4 and then is heated under pressurization, and next, a transparent substrate 3 is stuck to the other surface of the polarizer 1 with a bonding agent 5. Preferably, a pressure at the time of heating is≥4 atmospheres and the temperature is≥40°C. It is preferable that dichroic dye is adsorbed to a polyvinyl alcohol resin film with respect to the polarizer 1, and an adhesive is preferable as the bonding agent 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
