PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous rectification DC-DC converter which allows a reverse current to be more easily detected than a conventional one. SOLUTION: The synchronous rectification DC-DC converter includes a first switching element for storing energy in a coil by power supplied from a power supply, a second switching element that connects or disconnects the coil and a load, a control means that controls the switching of the first and second switching elements. The DC-DC converter includes a potential comparison means for comparing the load-side potential of the coil with a reference potential. The control means carries out control to turn off both the first and second switching elements at a predetermined cycle. Based on the result of comparison by the potential comparison means during a period for which both the first and second switching elements are off, the control means detects a reverse current flowing from the load to the power supply.
