PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an EVA composition which contains a solid crosslinker and which is improved in the dispersibility of the crosslinker and in the adhesiveness, and to provide the EVA composition obtained by this manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer composition containing a ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and the crosslinker includes a process of preparing a crosslinker solution by dissolving or diluting the crosslinker into a liquid having a solubility parameter of 14.3-19.2 (J/cm<SP>3</SP>)<SP>1/2</SP>and a process of mixing this crosslinker solution with the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer.
