<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque sensor, capable of detecting torque with higher accuracy of detection. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The torque sensor includes a first shaft, a second shaft, a connecting shaft which connects these, a first permanent magnet fixed to the first shaft, a second permanent magnet fixed to the second shaft, a first sensor yoke pair which is fixed to the first shaft and composed of a plurality of magnetic materials disposed in a magnetic field of the second permanent magnet, a second sensor yoke pair which is fixed to the second shaft and composed of a plurality of magnetic materials disposed in the magnetic field of the first permanent magnet, a magnetism collecting yoke pair which is disposed in the vicinity of the first sensor yoke pair and the second sensor yoke pair and forms a first magnetic circuit with the first permanent magnet and the second sensor yoke pair while forming a second magnetic circuit parallel with the first magnetic circuit, with the second permanent magnet and the first sensor yoke pair, a magnetic flux detector which detects a magnetic flux flowing through the magnetism collecting yoke pair, and a torque detection unit which detects the torque from a detection output of the magnetic flux detector.
