<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FM receiving device that can stabilize separation even in a situation where a radio field intensity of FM broadcasting varies. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An FM receiving device 1 comprises a radiowave capturing device 2, a preamplifier device 3, an FM signal demodulation device 4, an audio output device 5, a receiving condition-detecting device 6, a present location information-acquiring device 7, a control device 8 and a data storage device 9. Based on received information from the receiving condition-detecting device 6, if it is in a radio field intensity range within which separation when FM radio broadcast reception takes place in stereo or monaural mode is made destabilized, then the control device 8 calculates an optimum gain at which the radio field intensity is made to be at least an upper limit of the radio field intensity range. Then, the control device 8 controls a gain of the preamplifier device 3 based on an optimum gain associated with a receiving frequency of an FM radio broadcast wave and a calculation point corresponding to a present location of a mobile object.
