PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a structure for preventing the corrosion of a base plate of a building structure, which hardly causes the problem of the progress of the corrosion, even when water intrudes between the base plate and a reinforced concrete foundation. SOLUTION: The building structure 1 is made of an iron material erected via the base plate 3 on the reinforced concrete foundation 2. A water intrusion prevention measure for preventing water from reaching at least the reinforced concrete foundation 2 and the base plate 3 is applied to the building structure 1. The structure for preventing the corrosion of the base plate targets the building structure 1. In the structure for preventing the corrosion of the base plate, metal structures 4, 7 and 8, which sometimes electrically connect the building structure 1 and a reinforcement 2c in the reinforced concrete foundation, are provided between the building structure 1 and the reinforced concrete foundation 2. An insulating portion 11, which inhibits a macro cell from being formed via the base plate 3, an electrolyte, the reinforcement 2c in the reinforced concrete foundation and the metal structures 4, 7 and 8 on the occurrence of the intrusion of the water from any cause, is provided between the metal structures 4, 7 and 8 and the building structure 1.
