PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mat having superior absorbing/discharging property, water-retaining property and strength, and having superior deodorizing effect, anti-allergen effect and antibacterial effect. SOLUTION: This mat employs: a ground fabric 10 which has hydrophilic and water-absorbing/discharging fiber bundles 11A containing water-absorbing/discharging polymer, and hydrophilic and deodorizing fiber bundles 11B containing phthalocyanine compound, as component fibers; or a ground fabric 20 which has hydrophilic, water-absorbing/discharging and deodorizing fiber bundles 11C containing water-absorbing/discharging polymer and phthalocyanine compound, as the component fiber.
