<p>An apparatus for separating and purifying a refrigerant mixture comprising: a first distillation column (302), a first condenser (330), a first reboiler (310), wherein the first distillation column (302), the first condenser (330), the first reboiler (310) are fluidly connected; and a sorter vessel (320) comprising a sorter agent, wherein said sorter vessel is fluidly connected to the first distillation column (302), a second distillation column (502), a second condenser (530), a second reboiler (510), wherein the second distillation column (502), the second condenser (530), the second reboiler (510) are fluidly connected; and a heat exchanger (402); wherein the heat exchanger (402) is fluidly connected to the first and second distillation columns (302, 502), such that the heat exchanger is positioned to receive condensate from first and second condenser and to transfer the condensate from the first condenser (302) to the second distillation column (502), and to transfer the condensate from the second condenser (530) to the first ditillation column (302).</p> |
