<p>PURPOSE: A back surface electrode type solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the electric resistance of an electrode by improving the height of the electrode according to a desired amount. CONSTITUTION: A back side passivation layer(350) which includes at least one opening is formed in the rear surface of a first conductive semiconductor substrate. A seed layer(361, 362), which is contacted with a first and a second conductive semiconductor region, is formed through the opening. A first electrode layer and a second electrode layer are formed on the seed layer. The first electrode layer is electrically connected to the first conductive semiconductor region. The second electrode layer is electrically connected to the second conductive semiconductor region.</p> |
