摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a multiplex domain liquid crystal display device having high visibility. <P>SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display device includes a first insulating substrate, a plurality of pixel electrodes including a first and second pixel electrodes arranged by the same layer on the first insulating substrate, a plurality of first conductive lines arranged on the first insulating substrate, a second insulating substrate corresponding to the first insulating substrate, and a liquid crystal layer inserted between the first insulating substrate and the second insulating substrate. The liquid crystal layer is divided into a plurality of domains each of which is defined by alignment direction of liquid crystal molecules when an electric field is applied. When one electric field is applied to a plurality of pixels, the electric field of the first pixel electrode differs from that of the second pixel electrode, and the direction of the liquid crystal molecules of the domains are inclined with respect to the first conductive line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
