<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device in which downsizing of a lighting device body is achieved and which can illuminate the whole using region with sufficient brightness. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting device 10 includes a linear light source 20 in which a plurality of LED elements 22 are mounted in parallel on a substrate 21 so that the emitting direction of light may be in the same direction, a base board 30 of which one face is open and the linear light source is housed inside from this opening part 34, and a reflecting plate 50 which is arranged on an optical path of emission light from the linear light source. The reflecting plate includes a first reflecting surface 51 and a second reflecting surface 52. The first and second reflecting surfaces meet at the upper position of the central axial line in the linear light source, and is constructed so that the distance from the plane including the emitting face of the LED elements may become larger as they are separated away from the meeting portion 55. Light from the linear light source is reflected by the first reflecting surface and the reflected light illuminates one side region interposing the base board, and light from the linear light source is reflected by the second reflecting surface and the reflected light illuminates the other side region interposing the base board. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
