<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To warm up catalyst according to a traveling mode. <P>SOLUTION: When a hybrid priority mode is set, a temperature T22 slightly higher than a lower limit temperature at which ternary catalyst is activated is set as a completion temperature Tstop at which catalyst warm-up is completed (S530), to warm up catalyst in an engine. When an EV priority mode is set, a temperature T12 higher than the temperature T22 in the hybrid priority mode is set as the completion temperature Tstop (S520), to warm up the catalyst in an engine.
