<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a reproduced image from being considerably broken down by an IP packet loss, and to avoid an increase in delay time when performing a refresh operation for complete recovery from influences of the packet loss. <P>SOLUTION: Which macro block portion in an image region is missed by an IP packet loss is acquired by analyzing data before and after the packet loss and a bit stream of the missed portion is generated and inserted according to a system compliant to syntax rules of an encoding system. Furthermore, encoding is performed while reducing a redundant degree in time directions of a decoded image decoded as a compensation image and a decoded IDR picture image. thereby achieving rate smoothing by generating a switching stream as repair switch image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
