PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorting facility capable of coping with a request for collecting a defective product from a customer and so forth by grasping to which sorting destination an article (a defective product) complained (claimed) from a sorting destination (such as a customer) is shipped. SOLUTION: When inputting a number (a sorting destination) of the customer of making a complaint and a code of vegetables (article specific information on an article), a frontage of a flow rack allocated for the vegetables specified by the code of the vegetables is determined, and an original article receiving vessel replenished in this frontage and storing the vegetables sorted in an article collecting vessel allocated to the customer (a number) and an adjacent article receiving vessel positioned before and after this original article receiving vessel are determined, and the article collecting vessel of sorting the vegetables is determined from the determined original article receiving vessel and adjacent article receiving vessel, and the customer (the number) allocated to the determined article collecting vessel is determined.
