<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator rotating a shaft connected to one end of an arm member by the arm member coupled at the other end to a nut and oscillating with movement of the nut, reducing a cost and having a compact construction. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The oscillating arm 110 is formed into one united body by performing burring on one of two bent plates to form a projection and engaging the projection with a hole in the other plate, so that a configuration for catching the nut 108 from opposite sides can be accurately formed at a low cost.
