<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a fender having low glass transition temperature, low elastic modulus even in cold climates, and excellent in fuel efficiency; and to provide a fender using the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This rubber composition for a fender includes a vulcanizable rubber (A), and a rubber (B) having a low-cis structure other than (A) wherein the proportion of the 1,4-cis structure in the molecule is 20 to lower than 80 mol%.
