PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fence which hardly makes a gap between a fence panel and a ground surface, even when the fence is installed on the irregularly-uneven ground surface such as a soil ground surface. SOLUTION: The fence panel 2 is erected between supports 1 which are installed at spacings on the ground surface; and an elastic spacer 3 is provided between the lower end of the fence panel 2 and the ground surface. Thus, the gap between the lower end of the fence panel 2 and the ground surface can be closed by making the spacer 3 elastically deformed along the projections and depressions, formed by the unevenness of the ground surface, even with respect to the irregularly-uneven ground surface such as a concrete foundation surface.
