<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image capturing apparatus capable of obtaining a high image quality when capturing at high-speed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The image capturing apparatus includes: readout control means for reading out images of one frame consisting of pixels obtained by thinning half of all pixels in a period of half time in case of reading out all pixels from a first image sensor for green light, and for reading out images of one frame consisting of pixels complementary to those of the images of the one frame in the period from a second image sensor for green light; and green image generation means for generating green images of one frame having image information for all pixels based on the images read out from the first and second image sensors for green light each period.
