<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus which suppresses an increase in the amount of information created even if the amount of electronic information in composite electronic information increases. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An electronic information identifier generation means of the information processing apparatus generates an identifier for specifying electronic information based on the content of the electronic information. A composite electronic information identifier generation means generates an identifier for specifying composite electronic information composed of a plurality of electronic information, based on the identifier of the electronic information generated by the electronic information identifier generation means.
