HIGHLY PURE AMPHIPHILIC COPOLYMER COMPRISING HYDROPHOBIC BLOCK FROM ALPHA-HYDROXY ACID AND PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION THEREOF

PURPOSE: A highly pure amphiphilic copolymer and a producing method thereof are provided to effectively remove a non-reactive monomer and an organo-metallic catalyst from the copolymer for obtaining a high purity polymer. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of a highly pure amphiphilic copolymer containing a hydrophobic polymer block of high purity polyalpha-hydroxy acid comprises the following steps: dissolving an amphiphilic copolymer containing the hydrophobic polymer block of the high purity polyalpha-hydroxy acid to an organic solvent with the water miscibility; inserting water or an alkali metallic salt aqueous solution to the polymer solution obtained from the previous step; separating an organic solvent layer and an aqueous solution layer; and collecting the organic solvent layer, and removing the organic solvent to collect the highly pure amphiphilic copolymer.
