PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the controller of a hybrid vehicle capable of suppressing the shortening of a cruising range or the deterioration of engine performance, in motor traveling based on the selection of an electric vehicle traveling mode, when a clutch interposed between an engine and a motor is fixed.
SOLUTION: A driving system is provided with: an engine Eng; a motor/generator MG connected to driving wheels RR and RL; and a first clutch CL1 interposed between the engine Eng and the motor/generator MG. A traveling mode includes: an "HEV mode" in which the first clutch CL1 is put to a tightened state; and an "EV mode" in which the first clutch CL1 is put to an opened state, and the engine Eng is stopped. Then, the transition control of the traveling mode is performed according to a request driving force or a battery charging state. In the FR hybrid vehicle, when it is determined that the first clutch CL1 has been fixed, a mode transition control means (Fig. 5) controls the driving of the engine Eng even when the "EV mode", in which the hybrid vehicle travels by using a motor/generator MG as a source of power, is selected.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
