<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator brake device for reducing an impact load on lining during bedding to prevent the breakage thereof, and to provide a bedding method for the same. <P>SOLUTION: The brake device includes a brake shoe, a guide device, an eccentric spring for thrusting the shoe against a braking surface, and an electromagnetic device for isolating the shoe from the braking surface during energization wherein an impact absorber is provided between the shoe and the guide device for absorbing the impact of the braking surface. The bedding method includes a step of bedding the brake shoe while thrusting the shoe against the rotated braking surface. The impact on the shoe is absorbed by the impact absorber, thus reducing a load on the lining during bedding to hardly cause the breakage thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
