<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor brush which the deterioration of operability during the driving operation by the friction resistance between driving wheels and a floor surface is restrained. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Clutches 55a, 55b connect a rotating brush 22 and driving wheels 23a, 23b only when the rotating brush 22 rotates along the driving direction of a case body and the rotating speed of the rotating brush 22 is by a predetermined speed or higher than the rotating speed of the driving wheels 23a, 23b. The driving wheels 23a, 23b spin free against the rotating brush 22 when the driving operation is started or the driving direction of the case body is switched so that the deterioration of the operability during the driving operation by the friction resistance between the driving wheels 23a, 23b and the floor surface is restrained.
