PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a regenerated tire in which uniformity is not reduced even when a band-shaped precure tread cut into a longer size than an outer peripheral length of a tire material is used, and to provide an apparatus for the same. SOLUTION: A band-shaped precure tread 6 cut into a long size than an outer peripheral length of a tire material is supported from its inner side by a spacer 3 and then the precure tread 6 is connected under pressing to an outer peripheral surface of a tire material 1 while the spacer 3 is taken out.
