PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network tester capable of simply testing the network even when the number of connection cables is large, and to provide a test control method. SOLUTION: The network tester 10 includes: a plurality of network connectors 107; a displaying means 108 for conducting the displaying respectively corresponding to the plurality of network connectors; a hub means 102 for providing the hub function; a tester means 103 for providing the tester function; a function selection means 101 for selecting either the hub function or the tester function; and scan selection means (104, 106), when the tester function is selected, for automatically selecting the plurality of network connectors in order of precedence to connect to the tester means.
